Why us

Soccer is
two seasons of work.

Soccer is the only Virginia high school sport that runs two distinct seasons in the same year. Boys in the fall, girls in the spring, club year-round. Two ordering windows, two sets of kit, and a club roster that often overlaps with the school program. A vendor that treats the calendar as one season ships gear late on the second cycle.

We build soccer kits in full sublimation by default, with sport-specific cuts that fit a midfielder and a keeper from the same template. Two ordering windows on the calendar (January for spring, July for fall) so the gear lands before preseason on either side. Club coordination available for programs that run the same athletes through high school and travel rosters.

For collegiate club programs, we work the same calendar with one extra round of sign-off because the athletic department signs the order, not the head coach.

Spec

A custom soccer jersey is full sublimation, with sport-specific cuts that account for the body shape of a midfielder versus a keeper versus a forward. Numbers and names dye into the fabric. The kit holds up to ninety minutes of running, two seasons of high school plus a third club season, and the laundering frequency that comes with all of that.

Tackle twill is the wrong call on a soccer jersey because the weight changes how the fabric breathes during a run. Screen printing fails fast on a jersey washed forty times a season. Embroidery is reserved for the warm-up jacket chest logos and travel polos. Plus Effort builds soccer kits in full sublimation as a default and matches the warm-ups, training gear, and travel layers to the jersey art so the program reads as one identity across both seasons.

Soccer seasons

Two windows,
one calendar.

Virginia high school soccer runs boys in the fall and girls in the spring. Most programs order both kits in the same ordering window to keep the visual identity unified, but some programs split the calendar to spread the budget. Either way, the windows are January (spring delivery) and July (fall delivery).

1

January: spring discovery + fit session.

Discovery call with the spring program head coach. Fit session for the spring roster. Per-unit pricing back in 48 hours, proofs through February.

2

February and March: spring production + delivery.

Sublimation runs in parallel with the proof revisions. Spring kit delivers before the first preseason practice in mid-March.

3

July: fall discovery + fit session.

Discovery and fit session for the fall program. Often the same identity as the spring kit; sometimes a refreshed treatment for a milestone season.

4

July and August: fall production.

Sublimation production runs through August. Fit-session sizing applied to the fall roster, including any rising freshmen who joined the program over the summer.

5

Late August: fall delivery before preseason.

Direct ship to the field house before the first preseason practice. Reorder window for fall transfers stays open through the first two weeks of the season.

How much do custom soccer uniforms cost in Virginia?

Custom Virginia high school soccer uniforms typically run $60 to $110 per player for a full kit (jersey + shorts + socks) in full sublimation. Keeper kits add a per-keeper cost. Per-unit cost depends on cut, decoration depth, and roster size.

When should a Virginia high school soccer program order custom uniforms?

Two ordering windows. January for the spring (girls) season; July for the fall (boys) season. Most programs order both seasons together in January or July to keep visual identity unified across the calendar year.

Does Plus Effort outfit Virginia club and travel soccer programs?

Yes. Plus Effort outfits club and travel soccer programs across Virginia, often coordinating with the high school program for athletes who play on both rosters. Same sublimation spec, scaled to club budget realities.
