Terms of sale

Plus Effort, LLC is the seller. We build and run the shop on the school's behalf, and we are the merchant of record on every order: we take the payment, we collect and remit the sales tax, and we handle fulfillment. The school does none of those things.

Using the shop or placing an order means you accept these terms.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it the moment your payment is authorized and the order is created in our system, which happens at checkout. The confirmation email is our record of that acceptance, not the moment of it: if the email is delayed or never arrives, your order still stands, and you can ask us to resend it.

We can decline or cancel an order, and we will refund it in full when we do. The reasons are the ordinary ones: an item is out of stock, a price or description is wrong on the page, the personalization is something we will not print, or we cannot verify the payment.

• Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the product page.
• Virginia sales tax is calculated and added at checkout. You see the tax and the total before you pay.
• Shipping, when your order ships, is priced for your cart's weight and destination and shown at checkout before you pay. See Shipping and pickup.
• We can change prices at any time, but never on an order we have already confirmed.

A lot of what we sell runs as a pre-order drop, and it works differently from a normal online order. Read this part.

• You are charged when you place the order. Not when it ships. The full amount comes off your card at checkout.
• Pickup orders are made together after the window closes. A drop collects pickup orders for a set period and produces them as one run when the window closes. That is what makes the price work. A shipped order is different: it is made to order and goes into production as soon as you place it.
• Ship and pickup dates are estimates. Any date on a product page or in an email is our best estimate, not a guarantee. Production and shipping timelines move. We tell you when they do.
• A date that slips is not a cancellation. If your order is going to be meaningfully late, we email you and you can tell us to cancel it for a full refund. That is the one exception to the production cutoff below: a late order can be cancelled even if production has started.

If you type a name, a number, or a spelling, that is what we print. Check it on the confirmation email. We are not able to fix a typo after production starts, and a typo you entered is not a defect.

We will not print anything obscene, hateful, or that infringes somebody else's trademark, and we will refund an order rather than print it.

Once production has started on a decorated or personalized item, we cannot cancel it. On a pickup pre-order that means the window closing is the practical cutoff. A shipped order goes into production as soon as it is placed, so there is usually no cancellation window at all: if you need to change one, contact us the moment you notice. We are responsible for getting your order right: the correct item, decorated correctly, delivered or ready for pickup. If we get it wrong, we fix it or refund it, as set out in Returns.

Beyond that, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed game or a team photo without the gear. Nothing here limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited by agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We update this page when the business changes. The version in force on your order is the one published on the day you ordered. We do not apply a change backwards to an order already placed.
