Shipping and pickup
How your gear gets to you
Two ways an order reaches you: it ships to your address, or you pick it up at the school. Which one you get is set by the drop, and the product page says so before you buy.
Effective September 23, 2026. Plus Effort, LLC, Charlottesville, Virginia.
Shipping
Shipping is priced for your order: a base charge that covers a typical single item, plus a small amount per extra pound, adjusted for how far the package travels. A heavier order or a farther address costs more to ship. You see the exact amount at checkout, added to your total before you pay. There is no surprise line item after the fact.
We ship to the address you enter at checkout. Check it. An order that goes to an old address is a slow problem to unwind.
Pickup at the school
Some drops are pickup only. There is no shipping option on those and no shipping charge: the run is produced together and handed out through the partner school or team. When there is a pickup location, the product page and the checkout both name it before you pay.
You do not need to watch for it. When your order is ready, we email you at the address on the order, with the location and the window to come get it. Wait for that email before you make the trip.
Some teams hand out orders through the coach instead of at a set location. On those shops the product page and checkout say so, there is no location or pickup window to plan around, and your coach hands out the orders once the run is printed. We email you the moment it is on its way to the team.
Pre-order drops: pickup moves together, shipping does not wait
A pre-order drop collects orders for a set window. Pickup orders are held while the window is open; when it closes, that whole run is produced at once and becomes ready for pickup together. A shipped order is different: it is made to order and goes into production as soon as you place it, and it ships as soon as it is made.
- Your card is charged when you order, not when the run is produced. See Terms.
- For pickup, ordering on day one and ordering on the last day get you the same ready date: the batch is one run, and there is no queue to be early in. A shipped order is made and sent on its own, so an early order can arrive before a late one.
- A combined order, some items shipping and some for pickup, comes in two parts and your confirmation email says so.
Dates on a product page are estimates
Any date you see on a product page, at checkout, or in an email is our best estimate. It is not a guarantee. Decorated apparel moves through a supply chain and a production queue, and both can slip.
What we commit to instead is telling you. If a run is going to be meaningfully late, we email you rather than let the date pass in silence, and you can ask us to cancel and refund it.
If you need gear by a specific date, a game or a banquet, text (434) 280-3200 before you order and we will tell you straight whether it is going to make it.
If something goes wrong
Package never turned up, arrived damaged, or the pickup email never came: text (434) 280-3200 or email hello@pluseffort.com with your order number. What happens next is in Returns.
Ask us anything
Text (434) 280-3200 or email hello@pluseffort.com. A person reads both.
